What is the GB4000? A Beginner's Guide

Understanding This Frequency Machine

If you've recently come across the term "Rife machine" or "frequency generator," you might be wondering what these devices are and how they work. While the terminology may seem complicated, the core ideas are actually pretty easy to understand.

The GB4000 is a programmable frequency generator designed to produce electrical signals across an extremely wide range, from very low frequencies all the way up to high RF frequencies.

In this article, we will explain what a Frequency Generator does, what the word "Frequency" means, why it's important for a Rife type device to cover a broad Range of Frequencies, and how the GB4000 fits into the equation.

What is a Frequency Generator?

A frequency generator creates electrical signals that repeat at specific rates.

That repeating rate is called a frequency, and it is measured in Hertz (Hz). Hertz simply means cycles per second.
Frequency Definition
If something operates at 1 Hz, it repeats once every second. At 1,000 Hz, it repeats one thousand times per second. At 1,000,000 Hz, (also written as 1 MHz) it repeats one million times per second. The number just tells you how fast the signal is cycling.

Some frequencies fall within what is called the audio range, which is roughly 1 to 20,000 Hertz.

Higher frequencies move beyond the audio range into what is called the RF range. These are much faster signals that extend into the millions of Hertz.

Why is it Important To Cover A Broad Range of Frequencies

The researchers that originally developed this technology discovered that different uses required different levels of frequencies.

When you go to look for a machine, you'll want to find one that can cover all of these frequencies.

The GB4000 is designed to generate frequencies starting at 1 Hertz and going all the way up to 20,000,000 Hertz, or 20 MHz. That means it covers both very low frequencies and high RF frequencies within a single unit. This broad range is one of the defining characteristics of the device.

Choosing a machine that allows you to run programs in a wide range of frequencies will enable you to get the most from your machine.

Understanding the Basics of the GB4000

At its core, the GB4000 is a tool designed to generate and control frequencies. It provides a wide frequency range and it's easy to use.

Now that you know the basics, the technology is easier to understand and should be less intimidating.
